About: our goal
The conference “Meeting of V4 Partner Cities and Villages” will take place on September 9 2021 in Olomouc at the historic Jesuit Convent. The event is held under the auspices of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Mr Jakub Kulhánek, the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr Radek Vondráček, and the Director of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Office of the President of the Republic, Mr Rudolf Jindrák.
Our goal is to enable the representatives of cultural, tourist and educational institutions to meet their colleagues from cities of V4 region in person. Also, we would like to create a contact database which will be active on a long term basis as a part of the conference webpage and can be used as a go-to medium when trying to find a new cooperation partner as well. We would like our event to have a real impact on the people of our cities and not to be just a formal meeting of politicians.
In addition to the official part of the conference, there will also be a presentation zone in the hallways of the Convent where local institutions will present themselves.
