Flora Olomouc Exhibition Grounds
The Exhibition Grounds of Flora Olomouc are situated in the Smetanovy sady Park within the historical town center. It consists of exhibition halls and greenhouses; the town’s botanical garden and rosarium are part of it as well. Flora Olomouc specializes in organizing exhibitions and trades, hosting about twenty of them every year. The Exhibitions center’s main event is the international horticultural exhibition called Flora Olomouc.

Conservatory of the Evangelical Academy
The conservatory of music was founded in 1990 and is currently located in the historical center of Olomouc in a baroque building on Wurmova Street. It offers various study programs, including keyboard, wind, string and percussion instruments, as well as singing, music theory and general education subjects. There are several music ensembles within the conservatory of music, some of which will also accompany our program.

Street art festival
The Street Art Festival has been contributing to the face of Olomouc since 2007. Dozens of large-scale paintings have been created as part of the festival, but the organizers also organize various workshops, lectures and tours of Olomouc street art. The festival is non-commercial and non-profit, so the artists have absolute freedom in their work.

The Olomouc City Library
The history of the city library dates back to 1889 and since then it has been an important part of the cultural life of the town. Its central building is located on the Republika Square and houses departments for children and young adults, adult readers, a music library, a reading and study room and an internet centre. The library also runs 6 branches directly in Olomouc and another 8 in the city districts.

Museum of Modern Art

In addition to the main building of the Museum of Modern Art on the Republika Square, the Museum also manages the Archdiocesan Museum in Olomouc and Kroměříž. All buildings house collections of old, modern and contemporary art. The museum presents short-term exhibitions as well as long-term exhibitions dedicated to art throughout history. Archdiocesan museums focus on presenting church collections; the one in Kroměříž also has a large collection of sheet music.

The Moravian Theatre Olomouc
The building of the Moravian Theatre Olomouc is located directly on Horní náměstí and has been a permanent theatre stage since 1920. The Moravian Theatre has three ensambles – dramatic plays, opera/operetta and ballet. Many important names are connected with the history of the theatre, such as Gustav Mahler and Iša Krejčí.

The Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra
The Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the oldest symphony orchestras in the Czech Republic which opened in September 2020 its 75th concert season. The Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra is a major contributor to the organization of musical life in Olomouc. It is also the host of the Dvořákova Olomouc Festival and the International Organ Festival. The orchestra focuses on work of famous world composers but promotes contemporary Czech music as well.

Telegraph Gallery and Hub
The Telegraph Centre is located in a former telegraph factory building that has undergone a modern reconstruction and now houses a gallery, a hub offering coworking space, a café and lounge, and a cinema. The gallery reflects Czech and international art of the last 30 years and also offers a residence program for artists. The gallery also offers workshops and art classes.

Metropol cinema

The Metropol Cinema is the last classic cinema in Olomouc and this year, it celebrated its 88th anniversary. Today's Metropol defines itself with the phrase "Your home cinema" and wants to be a place where people spend their free time and meet with friends and family. In 2011, a cinema café and a children's corner were added and the cinema was also digitised. Now the Metropol cinema offers premieres of new films, echoes of film festivals, screenings for children, broadcasts of the Metropolitan Opera and more.

Olomouc Zoo

The Zoo was opened to the public in the 1950s and covers more than 42 hectares in the forests of Svatý Kopeček near Olomouc. Nearly 1900 animals are kept there. The Zoo has 6 pavilions, a walk-through kangaroo enclosure and marine aquariums. The Zoo also manages to successfully breed Rothschild's giraffes and golden lions. More than 300,000 visitors visit the Zoo every year.

The company Moram from Hodonín is a leading supplier of equipment for telecommunications and electrification work and infrared heaters for asphalt surface repair and weed control. In 2021, the company launched the Moram Smart project, in which it presents an entire portfolio of smart solutions for municipalities. The portfolio includes smart coatings, smart plants or rest areas.

The Czech company mmcité from Bílovice creates design elements for public spaces because they believe that street furniture should not only be functional, but also beautiful. They create from carefully selected and tested materials that are meant to serve the citizens for years and resist the effects of weather. They send the scraps from the production of the furnishings to sheltered workshops where they are turned into original gifts.
